An Orphan Girl. A Group of Wolves. A Destined Fate for War.
Don’t you ever wish to find where you belong? A place where you can rest your head without worrying about being jumped or your possessions being taken from you? Not like I had much, to say the least.
A pendant, an ancient blade, and a picture of my murdered family were all I had left when I was five years old. Foster homes to homeless shelters, I never found a place of refuge. I simply didn’t belong, and everyone made it their duty to remind me of my predicament. Until I finally came across a place that felt like home.
Sacred Moon Shelter for Endangered Wolves. I’d stumbled upon the sanctuary when I was near death, but I was miraculously saved.
Since then, I’ve become a Wolf Tamer; the only one who can get close to touching the six rare breeds. When I’m with them, I feel safe and sometimes wish I could be like one of them and escape this cruel world.
But such inhumanity strikes home, a group of hunters shows up, ready to take my wolves to an unknown place or murder them in cold blood. I won’t allow them to kill the only true family I’d ever known.
My name is Harper Blake, and I vow to claim and protect my own.
Wolf Tamer is a new Wolf Shifter Reverse Harem Romance. Recommended for 18+Audiences.

My Review:
3 Out of 5 Stars
Genre: Hear-Wrenching, Mystery, Reverse Harem, Romance, Supernatural, Suspense, Werewolves--
I feel very conflicted over my thoughts on this book. At least a fourth of the story (keep in mind this was a fairly short book at 180 pages) was told from 5 year old Harper's point of view. And she was a very lost, pretty damaged little girl who had a whole heaping of bad things happen to her. So it was a little off putting for a paranormal romance to be told from a child's point of view. That being said, her backstory was 100% percent necessary to the plot, world building and the random twists the book took.
I will say that I liked meeting the other wolves, but Ian always had a special place in my heart. The reader meets him as an incredibly protective, caring little boy and watched him instantly fall in love with Harper- he is also a narrator in the book, so I feel like I know him very well. I wanted Ian and Harper to get a happily ever after, but that was not this book either- and Ian is not alone in Harper's affection, she has herself a whole pack of men. This was the first reverse harem I have read where one of the men is so much more a main character than any of the others so it broke my heart a little to see him have to share... But that being said, I am all in for Carter (he is pretty dreamy and all alpha-y) so let the sharing commence!
Wolf Tamer was pretty dang steamy and intense. There were lots of stolen heat filled moments and a whole handful of attractive man-wolves to feast your mind and imagination on. Even the descriptions of all the guys seemed decadent, even naughty if that is possible. Keep in mind this is very much so an adult book.
Wolf Tamer is just the start to what is a very detailed and surprising Reverse Harem/Paranormal romance series. It takes the wolf bond and makes it that much more intense. The ending was a surprising cliff hanger so be prepared to desperately need the next book!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this title.
